Food Truck Bazaar is in downtown Avalon Park from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29. About a dozen trucks will sell gourmet food like cupcakes, Korean BBQ and vegetarian cuisine. Find more information at thefoodtruckbazaar.com.

Nearly 50 artists from around Central Florida will be featured in UCF’s first open juried art exhibition, which runs Thursday, Jan. 26 through Feb. 26 at the UCF Art Gallery, in room 140 of the Visual Arts building on the campus, near the intersection of University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday. A variety of original works, from plaster to painting to mixed media -- even a bench made out of a tree – will be on display. There will be a free, opening-night reception from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 and will include food and beverages. Entertainment will be provided by musician Joseph Keebler and Gainesville’s Hemisphere Dance Company.

Learn how to use various Internet resources to search and apply for jobs. You will become familiar with popular job search websites and common questions on job applications.

Tiny Tales: Rhyme Time for You and Your Baby is at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Alafaya Trail Library, 12000 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando.These programs, especially for infants from birth to 18 months, last approximately 15 minutes. The rhythm and repetition of nursery rhymes are used to introduce very young children to literature. Hold your child in your lap and enjoy this special time together.

Aquaponics: Create Your Own Vegetable Garden/Fish Farm is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Alafaya Trail Library, 12000 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando. Did you know you can create a sustainable garden and a fish farm at your home all-in-one? Aquaponics combines the practices of hydroponic vegetable gardening with at-home aquaculture.

Storybook Fun for Your Little One is at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at the Alafaya Trail Library, 12000 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando. These read-aloud programs are recommended for children ages three to five and last approximately 25 minutes. Bring your children often to enjoy folk and animal tales, flannel and big book stories, plus rhymes, songs, and poetry.

The Kiwanis Club of East Orange County's Kids Against Hunger Meal Packaging Party and BBQ is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Fort Christmas Park, 1300 Fort Christmas Road, Christmas, Fla. Kids Against Hunger's mission is to feed starving children throughout the world by packaging food by volunteers at numerous locations within the U.S. and Canada.
