Being unemployed could be a very demoralizing phenomenon. However as believed in cognitive psychology over a 100 years ago, then coined for "The Secret" again, your thoughts guide your actions. If you are a hard working individual, with drive and motivation, clarity of goals and persistence, but have not quite found that right job, challenge yourself this 2012 into doing things different.

Attend some new networking events, seminars and job centers. It is believed that our brain needs stimulation to perform at its peak. Put a little fire under your own "chimney" and evaluate what job finding techniques have and have not worked for you in 2011.

Dare to think outside the box and be creative during these stressful times. Stress is the enemy of creativity because it puts us in fight mode and forces us to stick to routine and the status quo. Pump up your veins with some oxygen, and give your brain the adrenaline it needs by being proactive about your job search. Oh yeah, and leave behind that source of negativity, which constantly complains that there is nothing out there, and the economy is just terrible. Wouldn't it be nice if you found someone just like yourself who was eager to get out there and find the right job? They would be your work buddy; the one who shares what works for them and has your back when the interview day comes. Your friends at Christian Help are always there to help connect you to employers and provide resume assistance.

If you need extra help finding what you are good at and what type of organizations out there are a good match for your knowledge, skills and culture, we are by your side as well.
