All Star Cuts
October’s Business of the Month is All Star Cuts in Avalon Park. Co-owner Jennifer Campos organized a community-wide effort to help poverty-stricken students in Bithlo have a day of fun — including free hair cuts, lunch and playtime — every six weeks. She and husband Mauricio organized a food drive, Give a Can, Lend a Hand in March for a food pantry in Bithlo and held a school supply drive for Orange County Academy in Bithlo.
Jennifer gained experience in organizing events that help others as the Faith in Action organizer at her church, Innovation Church, located in the UCF area. In this role, she finds volunteers for projects that serve the homeless.
All Star Cuts is also a Partner in Education, offering $2 discounts to Timber Creek High and Avalon Middle students and provides $8 hair cuts every Wednesday for local students. Jennifer recently joined the Board of Directors of the Avalon Park Foundation, a social welfare organization.
All Star Cuts is at 3564 E. Avalon Park Blvd., Orlando. For more information, visit them on Facebook at AvalonAllStarCuts or call 407-281-0545.
