Lately I have talked with a few people who have gotten job offers, but it is not the job they really want and so they are undecided about whether or not to take the job.
I met with a lady recently who wanted some interview coaching, but I believe the coaching she wanted was to convince her that if an offer came, to accept it.
The people I am talking with are the newly unemployed, and so I get a little concerned that there may not be an abundance of offers to follow if they turn down the ones they have.
Do you have any thoughts to share on turning down job offers and waiting for the right ones? The media keeps saying that things are getting better and the unemployment rate appears to be going down, but we are still seeing record numbers of job seekers in our office at Christian HELP.
As we go into 2012, please let me know what topics you would like to hear about and how I can be of assistance in your job search.
Thank you!
