Warren Creavalle

UCF men’s soccer senior Warren Creavalle was named to the College Soccer News 2011 Preseason All-American Second Team. Creavalle became the first Knight in more than a decade to earn All-American status on the Division I level last season after being named to the National Soccer Coaches of America All-American Third Team.

Just before the 2011 season starts, the UCF men’s soccer team was selected to finish second overall in a preseason poll of the nine Conference USA head coaches. The Knights garnered two first-place votes and are second only to SMU in the poll. In addition to being picked second, the coaches also voted junior Nik Robson and seniors Kevan George and Warren Creavalle onto the C-USA Preseason All-Conference Team.

UCF's annual Football FanFest is on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the in and around Bright House Networks Stadium. The event includes the final open practice of the preseason from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., a chance to get photos with the entire team at 4 p.m. and a chance for autographed photos with team members from 5-6:15 p.m. Parking is free in stadium lots E6 and E7. Josh Robinson

Already a member of four preseason watch lists, UCF junior cornerback and punt returner Josh Robinson made it five when he was selected to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List in August. The honor is handed out to the nation’s most versatile player. A total of 50 student athletes were chosen for the list.
