It's easier to vote

Starting this week, voters across Florida will open their mail boxes to find their mail-in ballots for the Nov. 2 General Election. Early Voting will begin Oct. 18. The vote is beginning!

Will Florida's citizens turn out to vote in November 2010 as they did two years ago for the 2008 General Election?

To combat potential voter disinterest, the League of Women Voters of Florida has initiated a statewide voter services initiative. Celebrating our 90th Anniversary year, the League aims to make voting a breeze for all Florida citizens.

"Our message is that this is democracy made easy - don't miss a single election by voting on your own schedule!" said Charley Williams, President of The League of Women Voters of Orange County.

Just log on to www.voteanywhere.org (Spanish language voters can visit www.vamosavotar.org). There are three easy, convenient ways to cast your ballot for the November General election:

-Vote by Mail

-Vote Early at designated sites

-Vote on Election Day

At VoteAnywhere.org, with one easy click, voters can:

-Find their precinct polling location

-Order a mail-in ballot

-Find their early voting sites and hours

-Contact their local Supervisor of Elections

-Download a copy of the League's non-partisan Voter Guide

-Learn about the constitutional amendments on the ballot

Voting has never been easier! Contact your local League of Women Voters at www.orangevoter.com.
