Newly opened Lake Nona Medical Center is accepting patients in the fields of pediatrics and internal medicine. The distinct practices are offered out of separate wings of the same facility at 10734 Moss Park Road.
Lake Nona Medical Center, a division of the Internal Medicine Group of Central Florida, is a team of physicians providing a range of care in pediatrics and internal medicine. Both medicine practices include full in-house lab services, electronic medical records system, electronic prescription services and same day appointments.
Dr. Mranali Sawardekar Patel is a boardcertified pediatrician and urgent care physician. She attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences at the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. Pediatric medicine services consist of well child checkups, immunizations, school and sports physicals, hearing and vision screens, allergy and flu shots, repair of minor lacerations, asthma, allergies and ADHD exams, wart removal and ear piercing. Dr. Elena Mirela Gabor is a boardcertified internal medicine physician.
She taught as a clinical professor of internal medicine at Pikeville College, School of Osteopathic Medicine, and attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. Internal medicine services include EKGs, diabetes treatment, echocardiograms, high blood pressure treatment, nerve conduction studies, bone density scans and well women exams.
